Jessie Rios

Jesse B. Rios has twenty-three years of business management experience. Managed day-to-day operations for up to 356 employees and oversaw over eight hundred clients. Mr. Rios earned both his degrees at the UIW H-E-B School of Business and Administration with distinction. Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in management in 2009 and a Master of Business Administration in 2010. At UIW, Mr. Rios is underutilized as a HP Tech Support Specialist but he gives 100% daily to support the School of Rehabilitation Sciences faculty, staff and students to ensure they are successful.

During his undergraduate and graduate studies, he traveled to ten countries, focusing on operations and processes to compare and contrast the differences between countries’ business management processes. He also went to South Korea in 2010 as a UIW Ambassador to teach English and other required curriculum to middle school students in Gwangju during their summer break for thirty-five days, allowing him to embrace the S. Korean culture.

As a Marine and born-and-raised Texan, on his time off he enjoys helping the San Antonio and surrounding counties through community service. For sixteen years, he has been a Humor for Heroes Committee member, and he is also a member of the Stock Show and Rodeo Military Affairs Committee. Both organizations are nonprofit 503c3 organizations that support our veterans and active-duty service members. He is also a San Antonio Street Rod Committee Member who puts on local car shows at nursing facilities for their senior residents. At this time, he is restoring a 1967 Mustang, a 1932 Ford five-window coupe and two 1930 Ford five-window coupes.
