December 2025 Graduation

Congratulations Class of 2025! You are nearing the end of your academic career with the School of Rehabilitation Sciences at the University of the Incarnate Word. To make the process of applying for graduation (completion of degree requirements) and preparing for commencement (the ceremony celebrating your success) go smoothly, please review the information provided by the Registrar’s Office at the following link and as provided in a Canvas Graduation Course: UIW Registrar - Graduation

  • Site opens for ordering regalia, announcements and/or ring for commencement. Regalia ordered through this site for DPT and OTD is rental only and must be returned following the ceremony. Regalia ordered for MSAT is a "keeper" gown and does not need to be returned. If you wish to purchase regalia, contact Herff-Jones.  Please note there is a six-week turnaround for purchased (not rental) regalia.
  • You will need to provide your height, weight and cap size (measure the circumference of the head one inch above the ears).
  • Rented regalia will be delivered to the school.
  • Note: There is no deadline to order announcements or a ring but the turnaround time is 8 weeks or more for delivery.
Visit the Herff-Jones website to order your regalia.
  1. Under "Products" click on Cap and Gown.
  2. On the University of the Incarnate Word Page, click on the "select an option" drop-down list and select "Master of Science in Athletic Training," then click "Shop."
  3. Complete the information as requested. You will need your height, weight and cap size (measure the circumference of your head one inch above the ears). This is for rental purposes only. If you wish to purchase your regalia, contact a member of the university bookstore.
  4. To order announcements, ring or diploma frame, follow Step 1 above by clicking on the appropriate tab for the item you wish to order.
October 1, 2025 DEADLINE - Last day to apply for December 2025 graduation to ensure publication entry. Information will be provided by the Registrar's Office by email on how to apply.
November 6, 2025 Graduation Fair 12 p.m. - 5 p.m., SEC Concourse
November 10, 2025 DEADLINE – Last day to order regalia for commencement. See instructions above.
December 8, 2025 Ring Ceremony 5:30 p.m., Chapel of the Incarnate Word. More information provided by the Alumni Office.
December 12, 2025 Graduation Hooding and Awards Ceremony (invitation only) 9:30 a.m., St. Brigid's Catholic Church, 6907 Kitchener St., San Antonio, TX 78240. Reception following at School of Rehabilitation Sciences.
December 12, 2025 Clocktower Photos 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. & 1 p.m. - 3 p.m. Photos taken by the Clocktower on the Broadway campus.
December 12, 2025 Baccalaureate Mass (2 guests + graduate, Tickets required) 2 p.m. & 6 p.m., Chapel of the Incarnate Word. Look for information on how to RSVP in Canvas course. Reception following in the SEC Ballroom.
December 13, 2025 Commencement Ceremony (tickets required for guests)
  • Joe and Harry Freeman Coliseum, 3201 E. Houston St., San Antonio, TX 78219
  • 8:30 a.m., Arrive and assemble in the Exhibit Hall wearing your regalia
  • 9 a.m., Doors open for guests
  • 9:40 a.m., Procession begins
  • 10 a.m., Ceremony starts

Commencement Photography: All students participating in commencement will be photographed. If you are interested in ordering photographs from the ceremony, go to TheGradTeam.com.

Disability Services: If you or your guest require accommodations for a disability, please follow the instructions provided in the Canvas Graduation Course and provide a minimum of one week's notice.

Driving Directions: View driving directions to the Joe and Harry Freeman Coliseum.

Parking: A parking pass will be provided for each graduate when you request ceremony tickets. Graduates should park in Lot 9. Guests arriving in a separate car will need to park separately from the graduate and pay for parking. Guests will be able to park in Lots 1-8. Please note that parking for guests will be announced later and will be cash only.

Tickets: Tickets are required for both the Baccalaureate Mass and the Commencement ceremony. The Registrar's Office will send out a link to request tickets. The graduate will not need a ticket for the Commencement ceremony. You will also be able to retrieve your parking pass for commencement when you access the ticket portal.
