Marisol Salas-Rios

Recruiter

Marisol Salas joined the University of the Incarnate Word School of Rehabilitation Sciences in November 2024 as the Admissions Recruiter. Marisol has over two years of higher education admissions experience, previously serving as the admissions recruiter for UIW's School of Osteopathic Medicine since September 2022. As a recruiter, Marisol hopes to continue to serve and inspire first-generation students to answer the call to healthcare.

Marisol graduated with honors from Texas A&M University - San Antonio with a Bachelor of Arts and Science in Communication, becoming the first generation in her family to obtain a bachelor’s degree. She is currently pursuing a master’s in communication arts from UIW and hopes to someday become the first generation in her family to obtain a Ph.D. In 2023, Marisol was inducted into UIW's Alpha Gamma Kappa Chapter of the Lamda Pi Eta Honors Society for honors students in communication.

When she isn’t out and about recruiting or studying, Marisol enjoys playing video games, watching animated shows or films, picking up a new hobby like building Lego sets, and going for long walks with her dog, Salsa.
