Alexis Garcia joined the School of Rehabilitation Sciences at the University of the Incarnate Word in August 2024. Born and raised in San Antonio, Alexis is a first-generation college graduate who earned her bachelor’s degree in Exercise and Sports Science from Texas State University.

Alexis enjoys spending time with her family, vacationing, and exploring new things, but will never turn down a trip to Disney. She also enjoys spending time in the kitchen cooking and baking, as well as building LEGO sets with her husband while their dog, Wolverine, keeps them company.
