Service and Career Resources
Students and faculty will be expected to engage in service-learning opportunities in the community. Some of the curricular learning objectives will be met through participation in community engagement opportunities that may occur outside of scheduled class time.
Service Opportunities
Written reflection and small/large group discussion of the experiences will help all gain a deeper understanding of the University and the Mission while promoting self-growth. Service activities done in connection with being a student at UIW include the following elements:
- Helping meet community needs
- Done out of concern for the well-being of the community
- Learning about civic responsibility
To view service opportunities, upcoming events, access service hour documents and more visit the UIW Engage website.
