Due to the rigorous nature of the Master of Science in Athletic Training program, outside employment is not encouraged, but we also recognize it helps to put food on the table. Considering a full-time student course load and 15-20 hours per week in clinical rotations, students tend to find the most success in keeping their work hours below 12 per week.
A limited number of student employment positions may be offered based on available funding. These positions are usually 5 to 10 hours per week. A call for applications will occur as vacancies occur.
Positions may include:
- Peer Tutor - Peer Tutors are upper-level students who tutor fellow students and assist with their academic success.
- Office Assistant - The Office Assistant assists with clerical duties within the School of Rehabilitation Sciences' office.
- Ambassadors - Provide campus tours and assists with recruitment initiatives.
Research positions may also arise that pay for 3-credit hours of tuition each fall and spring semester.
